Remuneration for certified translation is governed by Decree No. 491/2004 Z.z. (Coll.) on remuneration, compensation for expenses and time for experts, interpreters, and translators – remuneration is based on the number of pages. The rate per page is 19.92 Euro, whereas one page is considered text containing 30 lines with 60 characters in each line including spaces or, in other words, text with 1,800 characters.
